It is important because it shows that you're professional and that you take your work seriously. One can also model appropriate communication at work by showing others politeness and how to meet someone for the first time. It is important that you introduce yourself to a new person in the right manner, such as when to say things and what to say. This is important because you could appear socially awkward and or look rude. It is important to show respect to others, obviously, but in the work force gossip could spread about your rudeness.

in the Business world, it is important to apply the appropriate skill sets to be productive in a changing, technological, diverse workplace to be able to work independently and apply teamwork skills. Three ways of doing so are, applying expected work traits, applying teamwork, and modeling the understanding of time management. Starting with applying expected work traits, we have Dealing with Information Overload and Adopting a New Technology. Having these traits will help you be more 'flexible'. Next, we have applying teamwork. traits you should have to consider yourself having good teamwork are, decision making and putting out your opinion. these are important because they make you 'one with', instead of assuming dictatorship, also showing that you want success in your team. And lastly, we have, modeling the understanding of time management. two things that are a 'MUST' in achieving this are, juggling many priorities, and being able to find more time. This is important because it helps improve your professional look, also it just makes things more simple.

Business Etiquette is desired every where and is needed even more now days. There are four major kinds of business etiquette; on-the-job etiquette, person-to-person etiquette, communication etiquette, and, and presenting yourself. Starting off with on-the-job etiquette, we have using professional manners and introducing people. You can preform these tasks in a similar fashion, one can do so by using proper grammar as well as having proper body language. The next piece to having proper business etiquette is person-to-person etiquette. Within this topic there are, meeting business acquaintances meeting people for the first time. One can as well do so in a similar fashion of, speaking respectfully and having proper manners. Next we will be discussing communication etiquette consisting of, professional email and properly using work email. One can easily do so by responding in a timely manner and to be inquisitive, or in another case, know what you are talking about. And lastly, presenting yourself. Presenting yourself to associates and being able to except criticism. These are a bit trickier, but are way more important. One can present the self to an associate by showing respect and honor, one should not think to highly of them self in front of others. And one can accept criticism by actually think what and why they are saying something.
