When in the process of designing something within a digital software you need to be able to think ahead of the actual production process. For an example, when making a joint you should make it slightly smaller than the hole you are making it for, because when you are assembling the product You want the two pieces have enough room to rotate around without much pressure and friction to stop it from rotating. I have satisfied this standard when I made a pin for a gear to rest on. I made the pin that held the gear slightly smaller than the size of the hole within the gear. One goal I have for this standard is to get accustomed to using ratios when showing the dimensions of the product.
